How to find your phone model code
Locate Samsung SM-…, Xiaomi model numbers, and iPhone Model Number before ordering spare parts in India.
Why model codes matter
Spare parts are listed against exact hardware variants. A model code (for example SM-A505F or RMX3081) confirms board revision, display connector, and battery fitment better than a marketing name alone.
Android: Settings → About phone
Open Settings, search “model”, and note the model number shown on the About screen. On Samsung devices this is usually an SM-… code. Share this code when searching RepairFully or when our support team verifies compatibility.
iPhone: Settings → General → About
Tap Model Number until you see a code starting with A… (not the friendly name). That code maps to a specific iPhone generation and helps avoid wrong display or battery orders.
FAQ
- Is the marketing name enough to order a display?
- Not always. Two phones with the same name can use different flex cables or connector layouts. A model code removes ambiguity before you pay for a part that cannot be installed.
- Where do I paste the code on RepairFully?
- Use the header search bar or Device Selector search. Model-code shaped queries are prioritised in suggestions so you can jump straight to the correct device catalogue.
